For Families

What families who’ve been in your shoes have to say.

Choosing a care home for someone you love is one of the hardest decisions you’ll make. We take that seriously — and we hope other families’ words help.

Voices from families who trust us.

We are in the process of gathering written reviews from the families we serve. In the meantime, we invite you to call us, come visit, and speak with us directly — we’ll be glad to connect you with a family reference upon request.

What families usually ask us.

We’ve heard most of these before, and we never tire of answering them. There are no wrong questions when it comes to your loved one’s care.

Can we visit before deciding?

Absolutely. We welcome tours at any time, with or without an appointment. Come see the home, meet the staff, and take as long as you need. There is no pressure and no sales pitch — just an open door.

How often can family members visit?

As often as you like. We have an open-door policy and believe regular family involvement is genuinely good for residents’ wellbeing. You are always welcome — including for meals.

What happens if my loved one’s needs change?

We adapt care plans as residents’ needs evolve. For most changes in condition or care level, we can accommodate them in place — we don’t require families to move their loved ones every time something changes.

How do you communicate with families day to day?

We are accessible by phone. Families are updated on significant changes promptly. We believe in being proactive with communication — you should never have to wonder what’s happening with your loved one.

Can my loved one continue seeing their own doctor?

Yes. Residents are welcome to continue care with their existing physicians. We help coordinate transportation to appointments and communicate with medical providers as needed.

Are meals customized for dietary needs?

Yes. We prepare home-cooked meals and accommodate medical dietary requirements, preferences, and restrictions. Nutrition is not an afterthought here — it’s part of care.

What is the process for moving in?

It starts with a conversation. We meet the family, assess care needs, review availability, and walk through the details together. When it feels like the right fit for everyone, we move forward at a pace that works for the family.

Is there availability right now?

Availability at a small home like ours is limited. The best way to find out is to reach out directly. We will always be honest with you about current capacity and wait list status.

Still have questions? We’re easy to reach.

Call us, send a message, or just stop by. We know this is one of the most important decisions your family will make — and we want to help you make it well.
