Beltsville Elderly Care Home was not opened to fill a market gap. It was opened because our founder saw what elder care could be — and decided to build it.
With years of direct nursing home experience, our founder brought clinical standards and genuine warmth together under one roof in Beltsville, Maryland.
After years of working inside large nursing facilities, our founder saw the same patterns repeat: residents who were physically safe but emotionally invisible, families who felt like visitors in their loved ones’ lives, and care plans that served the institution more than the individual.
She knew what good care looked like — because she had practiced it. She knew what got in the way — because she had watched it happen. And she knew that scale was part of the problem. In a large facility, every resident is one of many. In a home, they are simply family.
Beltsville Elderly Care Home on Ingleside Drive was opened to be that home — small enough to know every resident, professional enough to meet every need, and warm enough that families feel at peace leaving at the end of a visit.
“When you work in elder care long enough, you know what it looks like when it’s done right. I opened this home to make sure it was done right.”
Our founder worked directly with elderly residents in institutional settings — administering care, observing outcomes, and building a deep understanding of what elders truly need to thrive.
The larger the facility, the harder it was to provide the kind of individual attention that made a real difference. A conviction formed: the best care happens at a human scale, in a setting that feels like home.
A residential home on Ingleside Drive in Beltsville was opened — licensed by the State of Maryland, designed for a small number of residents, and staffed by caregivers who share the founding belief that elder care is a calling, not just a job.
Today, Beltsville Elderly Care Home continues to serve families from Beltsville, Adelphi, Greenbelt, Laurel, and across Prince George’s County — with the same care philosophy that opened our doors.
We don’t use mission statement language. We just try to do the things we believe in, every day.
Dignity first, always. Every resident is treated as a full person — with history, preferences, and the right to be heard and respected.
Small is intentional. We keep our home small because we believe the quality of care and the quality of the relationship are inseparable.
Families are partners. We don’t manage families. We work with them. You know your loved one best — we need that knowledge to do our job well.
Professionalism and warmth are not opposites. Our clinical background gives families confidence. Our warmth gives residents comfort. Both matter.
This is their home. Residents live here. We work here. We never lose sight of that distinction.
A story is one thing. Seeing the home, meeting the team, and trusting your instincts is another. We welcome tours at any time.
